If you have Windows XP and have yet to update to Service Pack 1 you may want to hold your horses. Microsoft has released Windows XP Service Pack 1a which includes all of the updates from Service Pack 1 plus some additional fixes. Microsoft indicates that if you have already updated to Service Pack 1, Service Pack 1a is not required.
